Nothing brings out the shopaholic in me like exams. And deadlines. And stress of finding a job. And graduating. Thank god for blogshops that can satisfy my urge to window shop.
Ever since I came back from mexico, these has been the blogshops that I've been frequenting, on top of those that I have mentioned in my previous post.
I really like the colour of this crochet skirt. This dress is casual yet edgy enough to dress up/down. And the top is perfect for the Coachella season. Not like we have it here, but everyone is going crazy over it, so lets get crazy.
Ever since I came back from mexico, these has been the blogshops that I've been frequenting, on top of those that I have mentioned in my previous post.
1. My most reliable blogshop... AWE (allwouldenvy)
They always have the basics and everything just looks super wearable and chic. The range of clothes are always up to date and stylish and the website is clean and easy to use. The quality of the clothes are top notch too. I bought a few tees on exchange to mexico and despite wearing them every week, they are still holding well <3 AND they have something new every week. Like srsly. How can anyone resist.2. I know this isn't exactly a blogshop, but they make wonderful and affordable clothes - Zalora by Zalora
Tbh, I used to think Zalora sucked when they first launched. Their offerings were really ugly and auntie. And then all of a sudden, the range broadened, they launched their own collection and its all the basics, but its cheap and its good. The clothes, shoes and bags are on point with the current trends and cheaper than most blogshops. I'm sold.3. The trendiest blogshop - TEM (The Editors Market)
I love how their clothes look. Everything looks like its off pinterest/latest fashion blog. Only thing I hate is how their clothes are all meant to fit girls with no curves (tbh: the model from their latest range looks anorexic). Everytime I grab something to try at their retail store, I realise how deceiving their clothes really are ): Nonetheless, I still think that their range would fit most singaporean girls. But if you're looking to buy any of their clothes, always try it on at the retail store. Bonus if you go with a few friends, cos the prices they offer when you purchase 6 pieces, is really really affordable.
I've been craving a black pair of culottes recently. The side slit of the top has the perfect balance of edginess. The pants is so wearable and versatile.
4. New (and affordable) kid on the block - Supergurl
I stumbled onto this while doing a random google search (Their marketing person must be doing something right) and found their offerings surprisingly affordable. There are a few edgier pieces too, designs that can't be found on other blogshops and I think that's a great differentiating factor.I really like the colour of this crochet skirt. This dress is casual yet edgy enough to dress up/down. And the top is perfect for the Coachella season. Not like we have it here, but everyone is going crazy over it, so lets get crazy.
5. The most down to earth blogshop - DanityRoses
Honestly, on my first visit to this blogshop, I wasn't thoroughly impressed. I thought the model didn't carry the clothes well and was clearly a little too "fat" compared to other blogshop models. And then I saw TEM's model, and I realised the beauty of DanityRoses. They are probably one of the only popular blogshop that isn't afraid to offer a real perspective on how the clothes will probably look on the average Singaporean girl. Honestly, idk if this is a plus size blogshop, (in fact it shouldn't be considered as one, because I'm the same size as the model in the photos but I'm not plus size!) but I fully appreciate how they are using a model that isn't super skinny, can probably represent a larger proportion of the girls in Singapore, and still look stylish and fashionable. Double thumbs up to that.
Omg, this dress is love at first sight. The top looks so dreamy <3 and she pulled off this skirt so well
